With Spot it. Jr. Animals, young ones are on the lookout for creatures of the land, sky, and sea. Each card is decorated with 6 different animals of varying sizes. Here’s the amazing part: there is one, and only one, matching animal between any 2 cards.
How to Play
Spot it! Jr. Animals is played with 31 cards that are each decorated with six colorful animals ranging from the cuddly to the exotic. The animals may vary in size and position, but there is always one, and only one, animal match between any two cards. The aim of the games is always the same: Be the first to spot it. The mini games vary in challenge level, starting with the simplest game, “Twins,” which has players racing to find the match between two cards. The first to call it out wins the hand, and then two new cards are played. The player with the most cards wins. In other games, players try to get rid of cards or even look for matches between three cards. Easily adaptable to age and ability, Spot it! Jr. Animals can be played competitively or cooperatively, at a fast pace or while taking your time. But don’t be fooled by the Jr. status, the variety of images will challenge the eyes of all ages!
Learn While Having Fun
Your child will learn to name over 30 animals, expanding their vocabulary and inspiring their curiosity about the animal kingdom. This is a great game to work on visual perception, speech-language skills, and sharpen cognitive processing Speed. Handling the round cards exercises children’s fine motor skills as well. Spot It! Animals Jr. focuses on animal recognition in its 30-card deck. Each card has only 6 pictures, making it ideal for young kids. It helps develop their focus, visual perception skills, speech-language skills, fine motor skills, and learning animal names and sounds.
Spot It!’s unique gameplay is made possible by every card in the deck sharing a matching animal drawing with the other cards.
The ‘Hide and Seek’ game mode tasks players with matching several faceup cards to one in the middle of the table. Once a player finds a match, they flip their card over. The first person to flip all their cards wins.
Different game modes will challenge the way players approach each round. Some, like ‘The Tower’ will force players to try and collect cards, while ‘The Well’ encourages them to get rid of their cards.
