Create movement by melting crayons in different directions or incorporate cool textures by moving melted crayon with a craft stick. Incorporate newspaper and scrapbooking elements for a multimedia collage. Or, enhance your creations by painting a color background on the canvas or adding favorite words and images. Allow paint to dry before melting the crayons.
The canvas is easy to prop vertically so the melting crayon wax drips down the canvas board. Keeping the mess to a minimum is easy. Simply protect your work surface with newspaper or a drop cloth and use the exterior packaging as a drip tray to contain the wax as it melts off the canvas.
